LYDL’s ZKLDF460 rotary table bearing has a 460 mm bore, 600 mm outside diameter and 70 mm total height. The double-row angular-contact ball arrangement is intended for a combined-load rotary bearing position. At this size, the surrounding workholding platform and its support structure deserve as much attention as the bearing envelope: a large fixture can introduce offset forces, flexible interfaces and demanding loading states.
The ZKLDF series technical table is the source of the nominal LYDL data on this page. Use the figures for selection and interface discussion, then agree the final configuration, tolerances and operating conditions on the supplied drawing.

Dimensions and mass: LYDL series table. Symbols follow its structure diagram. Mass is a reference; drawing approval defines the supplied unit. Load ratings, limiting speed, preload and numerical tolerances require configuration-specific confirmation.
The nominal boundary section is 70 mm on either side of the 460 mm opening, calculated from the 600 mm outside diameter. This calculation describes the available envelope before ring steps and interface features are considered. It cannot be used as a continuous support-face dimension. Follow the detailed ring profile when positioning shoulders, reliefs and contacting surfaces.
The listed H1 value is 46 mm while total height H is 70 mm. Keep both tied to their correct faces in the assembly drawing. If a table plate projects beyond the bearing diameter, include its thickness, support and workholding features in the same review. The bearing’s relatively shallow height does not determine the bending stiffness of that larger plate.
The ZKLDF460 mounting data list a 482 mm inner fixing pitch circle and 580 mm outer fixing pitch circle. There are 46 inner and 45 outer fixing holes. The 9.3 mm hole diameters, 15 mm inner counterbore diameter and 8.2 mm recess depth must be checked alongside the actual fasteners and mating thread design.
A large plate can make perimeter access appear generous while still hiding the tool path beneath a fixture or motor feature. Model the fastening and removal tools, not only the installed screw heads. Confirm how the two retaining screws and the extraction features are identified. They have defined roles and should not be reassigned casually to attach ancillary equipment.
Review the bearing carrier under the relevant workpiece positions. Pockets for coolant, motor cooling or a brake may weaken one region of the supporting annulus. If the carrier is part of a casting, assess its connection to the machine frame as well as its local thickness. A component accuracy specification does not establish the behaviour of an unevenly supported assembly.
| Model | Bore d | Outside D | Height H |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZKLDF395 | 395 | 525 | 65 |
| ZKLDF460 | 460 | 600 | 70 |
| ZKLDF580 | 580 | 750 | 90 |
ZKLDF395 offers a 395 mm opening within a 525 mm outside diameter and 65 mm height. ZKLDF580 increases the opening to 580 mm but also needs 750 mm outside diameter and 90 mm height. The latter step adds 150 mm to outside diameter and 20 mm to height relative to ZKLDF460, so it can materially change the machine structure.
The YRT460 product reference provides a same-envelope roller-bearing comparison. The YRT series selection page explains the other family arrangements. Compare the load cases, fitted stiffness and motion requirements independently of size. A nominally equal bearing footprint does not guarantee equal mounting details, friction or precision under the same installed conditions.
One potential use is a workholding table that supports fixtures of varying size or moves a part through several process positions. The bearing supports the rotary joint, while the load path depends on the table, fixture and connection to the machine. Identify the most distant force application point and the heaviest permitted fixture rather than reviewing only an average production part.
Include loading, unloading and maintenance states. A partially supported workpiece or a temporary installation fixture can apply a different moment from the normal operating load. If the process uses an axis clamp, define whether it is released or engaged in each load case. These examples establish what must be calculated; they are not a statement of an approved ZKLDF460 payload.

A large workholding platform may index briefly and remain stationary while a process runs. Describe both phases. The bearing review should include the stationary force and moment combination as well as the moving cycle, lubricant requirements and any vibration transmitted from the process. A speed rating alone cannot qualify that full operating condition.
When the table rotates continuously, add the expected thermal conditions and balance requirements of the complete rotating assembly. Calculate motor demand from its inertia and commanded motion. Do not estimate it from the bearing diameter or mass alone. Discuss allowable operation with LYDL using the actual supplied configuration, rather than treating a branded catalogue limit as a universal ZKLDF value.
Precision can be requested as P5, P4 or P2 where appropriate, with explicit acceptance features defined on the order. For the machine, specify the measurement position and the condition under which the axis is checked. Movement measured at a distant fixture edge can differ from a reading close to the bearing because structural and angular errors contribute differently at those locations.
The published mass reference is 50 kg. Confirm actual item and package masses and agree the handling method before delivery. Protect both ring faces and keep installation surfaces isolated from transport materials. Do not select a lifting point merely because a threaded hole is visible; its use must be established for the supplied bearing and assembly.
Agree the documents required for receiving: model identification, nominal dimensions, specified fixing features and the ordered accuracy checks. If results will form part of machine acceptance, define the datum and test setup in advance. The common inspection-and-packaging illustration is a process explanation, not evidence of a completed fifty-kilogram bearing inspection or a particular crate specification.

The listed overall height is 70 mm. The 46 mm H1 reference describes a separate profile feature. Add the adjacent table flange, housing, cover and seals when determining the total machine stack.
It establishes only the nominal bearing bore. The rotating shaft, sleeves, service hardware and their connections can reduce clearance. Check the smallest assembled opening and any access needed to install or remove those components.
Loading can put the workpiece centre of gravity at a different position or apply temporary forces through installation equipment. Include those states so the bearing and surrounding structure are evaluated for the actual worst relevant condition.
Its listed height is 90 mm versus 70 mm for ZKLDF460. Its bore, outside diameter and mounting interfaces also differ, so the larger size requires a complete envelope and assembly review.
The fifty-kilogram table value is a model reference. Request the actual supplied-item and packaged masses, together with the agreed handling arrangement, before selecting equipment or preparing the installation operation.
Use LYDL’s contact route to send the table layout, load states and precision requirements. Compare the full rotary bearing range when reviewing alternatives. Schaeffler TPI 120 supports general construction terminology; LYDL’s agreed technical documents govern the ordered assembly.
