YRT460 Rotary Table Bearing for CNC Rotary and Swivel Axes
The LYDL
YRT460 rotary table bearing combines a
460 mm bore, 600 mm outside diameter and 70 mm height. Two axial roller rows support axial forces in both directions, while a radial roller row provides radial support. The combined arrangement also resists tilting moments.
In the
YRT rotary table bearing range, YRT460 provides 65 mm more bore than YRT395 with 5 mm additional height. Its 482 mm inner and 580 mm outer fixing-hole pitch circles define a different mounting interface, despite retaining the same 46/45 fixing-hole counts.
YRT series construction reference. YRT460 nominal dimensions: 460 × 600 × 70 mm.YRT460 Dimensions and Mounting Data
These dimensions follow LYDL’s published YRT460 series table. Symbols correspond to that table; final machining dimensions and tolerances must follow the approved order drawing.

Mounting difference: LYDL lists Ø10 mm fixing holes for YRT460, but Ø9.3 mm for YRTS460. Schaeffler’s YRTC460-XL also uses Ø9.3 mm. This page preserves the published LYDL value; confirm the supplied hole geometry before machining mating parts or approving a replacement.
Specify the selected steel grade in the order; the listed grades are not automatically interchangeable. Request LYDL-specific load ratings, permissible speed, stiffness, mass, preload and numerical runout limits for final selection. These performance values are not established by the public dimensional table.
INA/Schaeffler YRTC460-XL Performance Reference
The following data belong to
INA/Schaeffler YRTC460-XL in TPI 120. They provide a manufacturer reference and do not represent guaranteed LYDL YRT460 performance.
| Reference parameter | YRTC460-XL — TPI 120 |
|---|
| Basic dynamic axial load rating, Ca | 290 kN |
| Basic static axial load rating, C0a | 2,550 kN |
| Basic dynamic radial load rating, Cr | 265 kN |
| Basic static radial load rating, C0r | 880 kN |
| Continuous-operation limiting speed, nG | 150 rpm |
| Frictional torque guide value, MR | 25 N·m at 5 rpm |
| Mass | 45.2 kg |
| Standard fitted axial / radial runout | 6 / 6 µm with ideal adjacent construction |
The speed limit reflects catalog lubrication, mounting and thermal test conditions without external application load. Actual permissible speed depends on the supplied bearing and duty cycle. Static load ratings require combined-load and safety-factor calculations; the friction guide value alone is insufficient for motor sizing.
Profile and mass: LYDL lists d1 = 560 mm; TPI 120 gives YRTC460-XL D1 max. = 560.9 mm. Schaeffler’s online product data report 44.38 kg, compared with 45.2 kg in TPI 120. Keep these source values separate.
Temperature: LYDL’s series page states −20°C to +120°C. Schaeffler’s online YRTC460-XL data state −30°C to +120°C, while TPI 120 gives −30°C to +100°C. The supplied bearing’s agreed operating range depends on its grease and construction.

Applications and Operating Conditions
Consider YRT460 where the shaft or hub arrangement requires a 460 mm bearing bore:
- CNC rotary tables: workholding under combined fixture, workpiece and cutting loads.
- Swivel axes: positioning assemblies with load directions that change through the working angle.
- Indexing equipment: repeated movements with defined acceleration and settling requirements.
- Measuring systems: rotary stages requiring specified radial and axial running accuracy.
Describe both motion and holding conditions. A table that indexes briefly and then holds a machining load needs assessment of its acceleration, stationary load path and accumulated thermal behavior.

The step from YRT460 to YRT580 requires substantial housing and axial-space changes. Compare these envelopes first, then assess the actual load ratings, stiffness and mounting arrangements rather than selecting by bore diameter alone.
YRTS460, YRTM460 and ZKLDF460
| Option | Main function | Selection consideration |
|---|
| LYDL YRT460 | Axial/radial roller support | Published dimensions: 460 × 600 × 70 mm |
| LYDL YRTS460 | Roller design for higher-speed duties | Same boundary dimensions; published fixing holes differ |
| LYDL YRTM460 | Bearing system with angular measurement | Listed model; obtain the complete system drawing |
| INA/Schaeffler ZKLDF460 | Double-direction angular contact ball bearing | Catalog dimensions: 460 × 600 × 70 mm |
LYDL lists YRTS460 in both its typical-model list and detailed dimensions. YRTM460 appears in the model list, but the page does not provide its complete measuring-system dimensions. Specify the encoder interface, sensor space and system accuracy when considering this configuration.
For comparison,
TPI 120 lists Schaeffler YRTS460 at 560 rpm and ZKLDF460 at 1,400 rpm under catalog limiting-speed conditions. These are brand-specific values, not LYDL speed commitments.
ZKLDF460 is a candidate for a higher-speed redesign sharing the same boundary dimensions. Interchangeability still requires checks of fixing holes, axial datums, ring profiles, stiffness, preload, lubrication and sealing. Equal nominal dimensions do not establish equal tolerances.
Assembly, Inspection and Packaging
Identify fixing holes, retaining screws, extraction threads and lubrication passages on the supplied drawing. The M12 extraction threads shown for reference YRTC460-XL are separate from its fixing holes. Fastener specification and tightening torque must come from the applicable assembly instructions.
Define numerical precision requirements alongside P5, P4 or P2. In Schaeffler’s designations,
XL identifies X-life and
VSP concerns preload for an axially supported L-section ring. Restricted-runout suffixes also depend on bearing family and rotating ring; see the FAQ below. None automatically establishes an equivalent LYDL grade.
Agree inspection scope for dimensions, hole geometry, runout and rotational resistance, including measurement conditions and reporting. Bearing runout and complete-axis angular positioning accuracy are separate acceptance requirements.
For wooden-case packing, lay the bearing flat on cushioning with rust-preventive wrapping and suitable blocking. Tape secures the protective wrap; structural restraint limits movement inside the case. Label the case with the ordered model and quantity, using the agreed shipment-specific packing arrangement.

Do the published Ø10 mm holes mean I should use M10 fixing screws?
Do not select M10 screws from that dimension alone. Hole diameter, counterbore geometry, fastener head dimensions, engagement and joint design must be checked together. LYDL’s Ø10 mm listing differs from the Ø9.3 mm brand reference, so use the approved YRT460 assembly specification.
Does YRTS460-PRL50/IR provide restricted runout when the outer ring rotates?
The Schaeffler TPI 120 restricted value of 3 µm for YRTS460 applies to rotating-inner-ring execution with suffix PRL50/IR. Its standard 6 µm value covers either rotating ring. State which ring rotates; do not transfer these suffix conditions or values to LYDL P2 automatically.
Will ZKLDF460 preserve the axial datum because H1 is also 46 mm?
Not necessarily. TPI 120 lists H1 = 46 mm with ±0.225 mm tolerance for ZKLDF460, versus ±0.06 mm for standard YRTC460-XL. Review the axial tolerance stack during conversion. The corresponding LYDL YRT460 tolerance must come from its approved drawing.
Should emergency braking be included in the selection data?
Yes. Provide maximum speed, rotating inertia, deceleration and any offset loads for the stopping event. Braking loads and their path through the assembly can differ from normal indexing. Include the brake or clamp arrangement so the bearing, fasteners and supporting structure can be assessed together.
