YRT950 Rotary Table Bearing for Precision Rotary Assemblies

The LYDL YRT950 rotary table bearing is a 950 × 1,200 × 132 mm axial/radial roller bearing. Two axial roller rows support axial forces in both directions and resist tilting moments, while a radial roller row provides radial support. This model combines a 950 mm bore with a 1,200 mm outside diameter, giving a nominal radial envelope of 125 mm. Its 86 mm and 46 mm mounting heights and 990 mm and 1,160 mm fixing-hole pitch circles are important layout dimensions within the LYDL YRT rotary table bearing range. YRT950 Dimensions and Fixing-Hole Details

The comparison below keeps INA/Schaeffler YRTC950-XL reference dimensions separate from LYDL’s published YRT950 data. Their main dimensions match, but their listed fixing-hole arrangements differ.

Symbols follow their respective drawings. The LYDL inner-hole count and both fixing-hole diameters require attention when adapting an existing mounting. Resolve these details on the approved order drawing before machining the housing or table. The Schaeffler reference also identifies two retaining screws and six M16 extraction threads. Retaining screws hold bearing components together; extraction threads assist removal. Neither should be confused with fixing holes or lubrication passages. Mounting fasteners and tightening requirements must be specified separately.

INA/Schaeffler YRTC950-XL Performance Reference

These values are from Schaeffler TPI 120, including its fitted-bearing tolerance table. They belong to YRTC950-XL and are not automatically LYDL supply ratings. LYDL can review customized requirements against this benchmark and define the agreed performance in the supply specification.
Reference parameterYRTC950-XL
Dynamic axial load rating, Ca1,080 kN
Static axial load rating, C0a9,500 kN
Dynamic radial load rating, Cr550 kN
Static radial load rating, C0r1,890 kN
Limiting speed, continuous operation45 rpm
Limiting speed, swivel operation110 rpm
Frictional torque guide value170 N·m, measured at 5 rpm
Standard axial / radial runout12 / 12 µm, fitted bearing with ideal adjacent construction
The speed limits depend on the catalog’s lubrication, mounting and thermal test conditions without external application load. The swivel limit is not a continuous-speed allowance. The friction figure is a reference measurement, not a complete motor-sizing torque. Source differences: Schaeffler’s online listing reports a mass of 297.64 kg, while TPI 120 lists 312 kg. Its online maximum operating temperature is +120°C, compared with +100°C in TPI 120. LYDL’s series page states −20°C to +120°C. Keep these source values separate when defining the supplied configuration. LYDL-specific load ratings, stiffness, permissible speed, mass and lubrication requirements should be obtained for final selection. A static load rating cannot be converted directly into an allowable workpiece weight. Need to check the installation? Request a YRT950 drawing and parameter review. Applications and Machine Layout

Consider YRT950 where the assembly accommodates a 1,200 mm bearing outside diameter:
  • CNC rotary tables: support for fixtures and workpieces under combined machining loads.
  • Swivel assemblies: rotary support where gravity and process-force directions change.
  • Indexing fixtures: positioning large components through repeated operating cycles.
  • Measuring platforms: rotational support with defined running-accuracy requirements.
Evaluate the complete table, fixture and workpiece arrangement. Overhang, acceleration, machining forces and the machine’s clamping system all affect the load case; bore size alone does not determine suitability. Comparing YRT850, YRT950 and YRT1030

ModelBore × OD × heightInstallation difference
YRT850 rotary table bearing850 × 1,095 × 124 mmSmaller bore and footprint
YRT950950 × 1,200 × 132 mm950 mm bore with 132 mm height
YRT1030 rotary table bearing1,030 × 1,300 × 145 mmAdds 80 mm bore and 13 mm height
Compared with YRT850, YRT950 adds 100 mm to the bore, 105 mm to the outside diameter and 8 mm to the height. Moving to YRT1030 requires another 100 mm of outside diameter. These are space comparisons; load capacity and stiffness require configuration-specific data.

YRTS, YRTM and ZKLDF Considerations

FamilyPurposeRelevance to YRT950 selection
YRT950Combined axial/radial roller supportStandard configuration described on this page
YRTSRoller-bearing design intended for higher speedsRequires a verified 950 mm configuration and operating data
YRTMBearing system with integrated angular measurementRequires defined dimensions, feedback interface and system accuracy
ZKLDFDouble-direction angular contact ball-bearing designNo same-envelope ZKLDF950 verified in the reviewed sources
LYDL’s reviewed model lists and detailed tables do not establish a YRTS950 or YRTM950 specification. This does not exclude a custom design. Describe the required function rather than assuming that adding S or M creates an available model. For a proposed ball-bearing alternative, compare mounting interfaces, stiffness, preload, lubrication, sealing and operating conditions. Matching 950 × 1,200 × 132 mm dimensions would establish only a candidate for further review.

Accuracy, Mounting and Delivery Preparation

LYDL lists P5, P4 and P2 accuracy options. Agree numerical tolerances and inspection conditions for the order. These bearing grades do not independently establish angular positioning accuracy for the complete rotary axis. In the Schaeffler reference system, XL identifies X-life. VSP concerns the preload arrangement for an axially supported L-section ring. PRL50 identifies restricted runout; the reference tolerance table lists 6 µm for the 950 mm size, with manufacturer consultation required for restricted versions above 460 mm. Specify the supported faces, fits, screw arrangement and tightening sequence on the assembly documentation. Verify runout and rotational resistance after mounting. Material grade, grease and inspection-report scope should be stated in the order rather than assumed from the model number. For wooden-case packing, the bearing lies flat with rust-preventive wrapping, cushioning and suitable blocking. Tape secures the wrapping; appropriate restraints prevent the bearing moving inside the case. The external label identifies the ordered model and quantity. YRT bearing inspection and wooden-case packaging with a wrapped bearing laid flat on foam and secured with blue bands Illustrative inspection and packing arrangements; actual shipment records and protective packaging follow the agreed order requirements.

YRT950 FAQ

Is the 125 mm radial envelope available for seals or coolant channels?

No. The 125 mm value is calculated from (1,200 − 950) ÷ 2 and describes the bearing’s overall radial envelope. It is occupied by bearing components. Space for seals, channels and surrounding walls must be established from the bearing section and mating-part drawings.

Can the 86 mm and 46 mm mounting heights be treated interchangeably?

No. H1 and H2 refer to different features in the bearing section. Their sum equals the 132 mm overall height, but that does not make the mounting geometry symmetrical. Use the approved section drawing to establish orientation, shoulder positions and support faces.

Does the 12 µm reference guarantee the same runout at the table edge?

No. The 12 µm figure applies to the fitted YRTC950-XL bearing under ideal adjacent-construction conditions. Table-face runout also includes mounting errors and structural effects. Specify the table measurement radius, load state and temperature separately from the bearing acceptance requirement.

What information helps evaluate an overhanging fixture?

Provide fixture and workpiece weights, their centers of gravity, machining-force directions and distances from the bearing reference plane. Include acceleration and clamped or unclamped operating states. These details allow combined loading and deflection to be assessed without treating total weight as the only selection criterion.
