YRT850 Rotary Table Bearing for Large Rotary Assemblies
The LYDL
YRT850 rotary table bearing has nominal dimensions of
850 × 1,095 × 124 mm. Its two axial roller rows support axial forces in both directions and resist tilting moments; a radial roller row provides radial guidance.
Within the
LYDL YRT rotary table bearing range, this model combines an 850 mm bore with a 124 mm installation height. The 890 mm inner and 1,055 mm outer fixing-hole pitch circles define the mounting layout. Bearing selection must also account for the surrounding structure and load offsets.

The table separates Schaeffler’s
YRTC850-XL reference from LYDL’s published
YRT850 dimensions. Matching boundary dimensions do not resolve the fixing-hole differences.
| Parameter | INA/Schaeffler YRTC850-XL | LYDL YRT850 |
|---|
| Bore × OD × height | 850 × 1,095 × 124 mm | 850 × 1,095 × 124 mm |
| Mounting heights, H1 / H2 | 80.5 / 43.5 mm | 80.5 / 43.5 mm |
| Outer-ring width, C | 37 mm | 37 mm |
| Inner-ring outside profile | D1 max. = 1,018 mm | d1 = 1,018 mm |
| Inner fixing-hole pitch circle | J = 890 mm | dn = 890 mm |
| Outer fixing-hole pitch circle | J1 = 1,055 mm | dm = 1,055 mm |
| Inner-ring fixing holes | 58 × Ø18 mm | 57 × Ø18.5 mm |
| Inner-ring counterbore | Ø26 mm × 17 mm deep | ds = Ø26 mm; Ts = 17 mm |
| Outer-ring fixing holes | 54 × Ø18 mm | 54 × Ø18.5 mm |
Symbols follow each source drawing. The LYDL pattern differs in inner-hole count and both fixing-hole diameters; use the agreed drawing before machining mating components.
TPI 120 also lists six M16 extraction threads for YRTC850-XL. These serve dismounting and must not be treated as mounting-screw specifications. Fixing holes, retaining-screw positions and lubrication passages require separate identification.
INA/Schaeffler YRTC850-XL Performance Reference
The following values come from
Schaeffler TPI 120, with runout information from its tolerance tables. They describe the reference bearing, not guaranteed LYDL performance. LYDL can review customization against your required specification.
| Reference parameter | YRTC850-XL |
|---|
| Dynamic axial load rating, Ca | 1,020 kN |
| Static axial load rating, C0a | 8,500 kN |
| Dynamic radial load rating, Cr | 520 kN |
| Static radial load rating, C0r | 1,690 kN |
| Limiting speed, continuous operation | 50 rpm |
| Limiting speed, swivel operation | 125 rpm |
| Frictional torque guide value | 130 N·m, measured at 5 rpm |
| Standard axial / radial runout | 12 / 12 µm, fitted bearing with ideal adjacent construction |
Catalog speed limits use defined lubrication, mounting and thermal conditions without external application load. The swivel value is not a continuous operating allowance. Obtain LYDL load ratings, permissible speeds and stiffness data for the selected configuration before completing application calculations.
Mass: Schaeffler’s online YRTC850-XL listing gives 231.4 kg; TPI 120 gives 253 kg. These are separate source values, not an agreed LYDL mass.
Temperature: LYDL’s series page lists −20°C to +120°C, while TPI 120 states −30°C to +100°C for the reference family. The supplied configuration needs a defined operating range and grease specification.

Applications and Load Assessment
YRT850 is a candidate where the machine accommodates its 1,095 mm outside diameter:
- CNC rotary tables: fixture and workpiece support under combined machining loads.
- Swivel axes: positioning assemblies with changing load directions.
- Indexing fixtures: rotational positioning of large components.
- Measuring platforms: rotary support with specified running accuracy.
Include fixture overhang, machining forces and acceleration in the load assessment. A large bearing bore does not establish allowable workpiece weight, and a static load rating alone cannot define the machine’s working capacity.
Application illustrations for YRT selection; assess the complete load cycle and available installation space.Comparing Nearby YRT Sizes
Moving from YRT850 to YRT950 increases outside diameter by 105 mm. Compare these space requirements before evaluating load ratings and stiffness; dimensional growth alone does not quantify either property.
YRTS, YRTM and ZKLDF Options
| Family | Function | Relevance to an 850 mm project |
|---|
| YRT850 | Combined axial/radial roller support | Base configuration described here |
| YRTS | Roller-bearing design for higher-speed operation | An 850 mm version needs verified configuration data |
| YRTM | Bearing system incorporating angular measurement | Specify feedback interface, accuracy and installation space |
| ZKLDF | Double-direction angular contact ball-bearing design | No same-envelope ZKLDF850 verified in the reviewed sources |
The reviewed LYDL model lists and detailed tables do not establish a YRTS850 or YRTM850 configuration. This does not rule out a custom proposal. Do not transfer a smaller model’s speed rating to an 850 mm bearing.
A proposed ZKLDF-type alternative requires checks of mounting interfaces, stiffness, preload, lubrication, sealing and duty cycle. An equivalent outside envelope, if available, would establish only a substitution candidate.
Accuracy, Assembly and Packaging
LYDL lists P5, P4 and P2 accuracy options. Specify numerical runout limits and measurement conditions with the order; bearing runout does not define complete-axis positioning accuracy in arcseconds.
For the Schaeffler reference,
XL identifies X-life.
VSP concerns the preload arrangement when an additional ring supports the L-section ring axially. These designations should not be assumed to define an identical LYDL configuration.
Agree mounting-face tolerances, fits, fasteners and tightening sequence. Verify installed runout and rotational resistance. Inspection documentation can be specified for dimensions, hole geometry and running accuracy; the quotation should identify the actual report scope.
For wooden-case packaging, lay the bearing flat with rust-preventive wrapping, cushioning and suitable blocking. Tape can secure the wrapping; blocking and appropriate restraints prevent movement of the bearing. Label the case with the ordered model and quantity.
Inspection and packaging illustrations; shipment-specific inspection records and packing details are agreed separately.YRT850 FAQ
Does the Ø18.5 mm hole specification mean greater internal bearing clearance?
No. LYDL’s Ø18.5 mm value describes fixing holes; Schaeffler lists Ø18 mm for YRTC850-XL. Neither value specifies internal bearing clearance or preload. Locate the assembly using the approved fits and mounting surfaces, with the bolt-hole pattern checked separately.
Does PRL50 also tighten the 80.5 mm and 43.5 mm mounting heights?
No. TPI 120 associates PRL50 with restricted runout, listing 6 µm for the 850 mm size. Tighter height tolerances use separate H1/H2 special-design designations. Restricted versions above 460 mm require manufacturer consultation; define each requested tolerance explicitly when specifying LYDL supply.
Can the 130 N·m reference determine heat generation at 50 rpm?
Not by itself. The 130 N·m guide value is measured at 5 rpm, while 50 rpm is the catalog continuous limiting speed. Friction changes with operating conditions. Thermal and drive calculations need representative torque data for the actual speed, lubrication, loading and temperature.
When should lubrication-port orientation be specified?
Before finalizing the housing and cover drawings. Provide the intended lubrication route and service-access direction, then identify the bearing passages on the approved drawing. Avoid locating covers, clamps or other components where they obstruct lubrication access or the agreed maintenance procedure.
