YRT80 Rotary Table Bearing | 80 × 146 × 35 mm

The LYDL YRT80 rotary table bearing combines an 80 mm bore, 146 mm outside diameter and 35 mm height for compact CNC rotary tables, indexing fixtures and measuring stages. Two axial roller rows and one radial roller row support axial loads in both directions, radial loads and tilting moments. Both rings have fixing holes for direct bolt mounting. Its larger bore offers more room for shaft and hub layouts than YRT50. P5, P4 and P2 accuracy options, lubrication and inspection requirements are agreed with the order.

YRT80 Rotary Table Bearing for Compact CNC and Indexing Axes

The LYDL YRT80 rotary table bearing is an 80 × 146 × 35 mm axial/radial roller bearing in the YRT rotary table bearing range. Its two axial roller rows and one radial roller row support combined loading in a compact assembly. Compared with YRT50, YRT80 adds 30 mm of bore diameter while increasing the outside diameter by 20 mm and height by 5 mm. This dimensional balance can suit larger shaft or hub layouts within a compact rotary axis. YRT80 rotary table bearing

INA/Schaeffler YRT80-TV Reference Performance

These are manufacturer-specific catalog values. LYDL’s public table does not provide corresponding YRT80 performance ratings; request LYDL data for the quoted configuration before completing load, life or drive calculations.

Basic static axial load rating, C0a158 kN
Basic dynamic radial load rating, Cr44 kN
Basic static radial load rating, C0r98 kN
Limiting speed, nG350 rpm, under catalog test conditions
Frictional torque guide value, MR3 N·m, measured at 5 rpm

Catalog limiting speed was determined without external application load under defined lubrication, mounting and thermal conditions. The friction figure is a bearing guide value; motor sizing must include acceleration, inertia and external torque. Published differences: LYDL specifies 4.2 mm counterbore depth; the reference catalog gives 4.0 mm. LYDL’s series temperature listing is −20°C to +120°C, compared with −30°C to +100°C in the reference catalog. Confirm both the mounting geometry and operating temperature for the ordered configuration. Need the YRT80 drawing and application ratings? Request a YRT80 technical review and quotation. Applications for YRT80

Consider YRT80 where an 80 mm bearing bore and compact installation envelope suit the machine layout:
  • CNC rotary tables: compact workholding axes with shaft or hub space requirements.
  • 4- and 5-axis equipment: appropriately sized swivel and positioning assemblies.
  • Precision indexing: assembly fixtures combining repeated positioning with controlled deflection.
  • Measuring equipment: rotary stages requiring specified radial and axial runout.
Selection depends on the complete load case, including workpiece offset and machining forces. YRT bearing applications in CNC rotary tables, five-axis machining, precision indexing and measuring equipment

These dimensions support layout selection. Compare the actual axial, radial and moment-load requirements separately.

YRT, YRTS, YRTM and ZKLDF: What Changes?

Family / exampleDesign purposeImplication for a YRT80 project
YRT80Axial/radial roller support for precision rotary and indexing axesBase envelope: 80 × 146 × 35 mm
YRTS, such as YRTS200Roller-bearing series developed for higher-speed operationLYDL lists YRTS200 at 200 × 300 × 45 mm; an 80 mm version requires separate confirmation
YRTM, such as YRTM150 or YRTM200Bearing system incorporating angular measurementConfirm the bearing drawing, encoder interface and system accuracy; LYDL’s published model list does not include YRTM80
ZKLDF100Double-direction angular contact ball bearing for rotary axes with higher-speed requirementsThe referenced catalog size is 100 × 185 × 38 mm; shaft, housing and mounting interfaces require redesign
Availability matters: YRTS80 and YRTM80 are not established standard options in the cited published data. Specify the required speed or feedback function so the bearing and machine layout can be reviewed together. The cited ZKLDF table starts at ZKLDF100. It is an alternative bearing concept for a redesigned axis, rather than a direct replacement for YRT80. Its suitability still requires load, stiffness and thermal checks.

YRT80 Designations and Assembly Requirements

LYDL uses YRT80 as the base model. INA/Schaeffler’s YRT80-TV designation uses TV for a glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide 66 cage. Confirm LYDL’s cage material when requesting a replacement or matching an existing specification. In the reference naming system, VSP concerns an axially supported L-section ring and its preload arrangement; PRL50 identifies restricted runout tolerances. Include the full existing designation and numerical acceptance limits when ordering. Use the approved mounting sequence and screw torques. Check assembled runout and rotational resistance, and provide lubrication access and protection from coolant, chips and dust.

Inspection and Protective Packaging

Specify the checks required for your order: boundary dimensions, fixing-hole geometry, radial and axial runout, rotational resistance and relevant material records. Agree the measurement conditions and report scope with the quotation. For wooden-case packing, the bearing is laid flat on cushioning with rust-preventive wrapping. Protective bands secure the wrap, while suitable blocking limits movement inside the case. The external label identifies the ordered model and quantity. YRT80 FAQ

Are the inner- and outer-ring fixing holes the same size?

No. LYDL lists 10 inner-ring holes at Ø5.6 mm and 12 outer-ring holes at Ø4.6 mm. These are fixing-hole diameters, not thread-size designations. Confirm screw diameter, length, strength class and tightening torque against the approved assembly drawing.

Why should I check H1 and H2 when replacing YRT80?

The 23.35 mm and 11.65 mm mounting heights locate the outer-ring contact surfaces within the axial stack. Check both against the mating parts, together with the 35 mm overall height. Determine spacer and shoulder dimensions from the section drawing.

Does YRT80 have higher load ratings than YRT50 in every direction?

No. In the same brand reference catalog, YRT80-TV has a dynamic axial rating of 38 kN versus 56 kN for YRT50, while its dynamic radial rating is 44 kN versus 28.5 kN. Select by the individual load components and combined-load assessment.

Can YRT80 be used with an external angular encoder?

Yes, as part of a suitably designed rotary axis. An external encoder provides a separate feedback system; its mounting, alignment and accuracy must be coordinated with bearing runout and machine stiffness. This is a design option when an integrated measuring-bearing arrangement does not suit the available space.

What information is needed for small-angle oscillating operation?

Provide the oscillation angle, cycles per minute, dwell time, load and mounting orientation. Small-angle movement needs a lubrication review because grease redistribution differs from continuous rotation. Agree the lubricant, fill quantity and relubrication plan for the actual cycle.
