YRT50 Rotary Table Bearing | 50 × 126 × 30 mm

The LYDL YRT50 rotary table bearing combines a 50 mm bore, 126 mm outside diameter and 30 mm height with two axial roller rows and one radial roller row. It supports axial loads in both directions, radial loads and tilting moments in compact CNC rotary tables, indexing units and measuring stages. Mounting holes in both rings allow direct bolting to the assembly. Specify the required runout, preload and duty cycle when requesting a quotation; P5, P4 and P2 options are agreed against the order drawing.

YRT50 Rotary Table Bearing for Compact Rotary Axes

The LYDL YRT50 rotary table bearing is a 50 × 126 × 30 mm axial/radial roller bearing. It is the smallest bore size in LYDL’s published YRT rotary table bearing range, making it a starting point for compact rotary-axis designs. Two axial roller rows and one radial roller row support combined loading within one assembly. For YRT50, selection should balance the 50 mm bore and 30 mm installation height against workpiece offset, mounting stiffness and the required running accuracy.

INA/Schaeffler YRT50 Reference Values

These manufacturer-specific catalog values support comparison. LYDL’s public table does not state corresponding YRT50 performance ratings; request the values for the quoted LYDL configuration before final selection.

Basic dynamic axial load rating, Ca56 kN
Basic static axial load rating, C0a280 kN
Basic dynamic radial load rating, Cr28.5 kN
Basic static radial load rating, C0r49.5 kN

Load ratings are inputs to bearing selection. Actual permissible loading also depends on combined loads, tilting moment, mounting screws, stiffness and the required service life. Mounting detail: LYDL lists a Ø9 mm counterbore with 4.2 mm depth. The reference catalog shows dashes for the corresponding YRT50 entries. Confirm the supplied hole geometry before machining mating parts. Temperature: LYDL’s series page lists −20°C to +120°C; the reference catalog states −30°C to +100°C. Confirm the operating range of the ordered YRT50 with its selected grease and construction. Need the YRT50 drawing and application ratings? Where YRT50 Fits Best

Consider YRT50 for compact mechanisms within these application areas, subject to a load and stiffness check:
  • CNC rotary tables: small workholding axes with limited installation height.
  • 4- and 5-axis equipment: compact swivel or positioning subassemblies.
  • Precision indexing: small assembly fixtures requiring repeatable angular positioning.
  • Measuring systems: rotary stages requiring controlled radial and axial runout.

Choosing YRT50 or a Larger YRT Model

ModelBore × OD × heightDimensional reason to consider it
YRT5050 × 126 × 30 mm50 mm bore and the lowest height among these four models
YRT80 rotary table bearing80 × 146 × 35 mmLarger bore with a 20 mm increase in outside diameter
YRT100 rotary table bearing100 × 185 × 38 mm100 mm bore for a larger shaft or hub arrangement
YRT120 rotary table bearing120 × 210 × 40 mm120 mm bore when the surrounding assembly needs more space
These are dimensional comparisons. Check configuration-specific load ratings and stiffness before choosing a larger model; the model number alone does not establish allowable payload.

Precision and Mounting Requirements

Interchangeability requires matching the mounting interfaces, tolerances, preload and runout limits. Include the complete existing designation when requesting a replacement. In the reference catalog, VSP identifies a preload arrangement for an axially supported L-section ring. Provide clean, accurate mounting faces and follow the agreed bolt-tightening sequence and torque. Check assembled runout and rotational resistance after mounting. Specify lubrication access and protection from coolant, chips and dust in the surrounding machine design.

Inspection and Protective Packaging

Agree the inspection scope with the quotation: dimensions, mounting-hole geometry, radial and axial runout, rotational resistance and any required material records. State the measurement setup and acceptance limits when a report is needed. For wooden-case packing, the bearing is laid flat on cushioning and protected with rust-preventive wrapping. Restraints act over the protective wrap, with suitable blocking to limit movement. The case label identifies the ordered model and quantity. Packing materials and reporting requirements are confirmed with the order. YRT bearing inspection and wooden-case packaging with a wrapped bearing laid flat on foam and secured with blue bands

YRT50 FAQ

Does the 50 mm bore provide a 50 mm clear passage through my rotary table?

The bearing bore is 50 mm. The usable passage in your machine also depends on the shaft, hub, covers and other fitted components. Check the assembled section drawing if cables, air lines or a rotary union must pass through the center.

Can a YRT50 support a faceplate much larger than 126 mm?

A larger faceplate requires an application check. Calculate the tilting moment from forces and their offsets, including the fixture, workpiece and machining loads. Then check bearing capacity, screw loading and assembly deflection. Share the faceplate diameter and load positions for selection.

Can a YRT50 run continuously at 440 rpm?

440 rpm is the brand reference limit under defined test conditions, including distributed grease, rigid mounting and no external application load. LYDL operating speed must be confirmed for the actual load, lubrication, heat dissipation and duty cycle.

Is 2.5 N·m enough when sizing the drive motor?

The 2.5 N·m catalog figure describes bearing friction at 5 rpm. Motor sizing must also account for starting resistance, acceleration, rotating inertia, external load torque and transmission losses. Request rotational-resistance data for the LYDL bearing and the intended operating conditions.

Does YRT50 P2 mean the same specification as PRL50?

No. The reference catalog lists fitted-bearing runout of 2 µm for the standard version and 1 µm for the restricted version, under ideal mounting conditions. LYDL’s P2 option requires its own agreed tolerance and inspection limits; confirm these instead of translating the suffix directly.
