YRT260 Rotary Table Bearing for Rotary and Swivel Assemblies
The LYDL
YRT260 rotary table bearing combines a
260 mm bore, 385 mm outside diameter and 55 mm height. Two axial roller rows and one radial roller row support axial loads in both directions, radial loads and tilting moments within one bearing assembly.
In the
LYDL YRT rotary table bearing range, this size introduces Ø9.3 mm fixing holes and Ø15 mm inner-ring counterbores, compared with Ø7 mm and Ø11 mm on YRT200. Its 36.5 / 18.5 mm mounting heights also require a different axial installation stack.

The following dimensions follow LYDL’s published series table. Use the approved order drawing for tolerances, fits and the complete mounting section.
| Parameter | LYDL YRT260 |
|---|
| Bore × outside diameter × height, d × D × H | 260 × 385 × 55 mm |
| Mounting heights, H1 / H2 | 36.5 / 18.5 mm |
| Outer-ring width, C | 18 mm |
| Inner-ring outside diameter, d1 | 345 mm |
| Inner-ring fixing-hole pitch circle, dn | 280 mm |
| Outer-ring fixing-hole pitch circle, dm | 365 mm |
| Inner-ring fixing holes, do | 34 × Ø9.3 mm |
| Inner-ring counterbore diameter / depth, ds / Ts | Ø15 / 8.2 mm |
| Outer-ring fixing holes, dL | 33 × Ø9.3 mm |
| Precision options | P5 / P4 / P2 |
| Listed steel options | GCr15 / GCr15SiMn / 100Cr6 |
| Lubrication | Grease; grade and quantity specified for the application |
The listed steel grades are not automatically interchangeable. Agree the material and precision requirements with the order. LYDL-specific load ratings, permissible speed, mass, stiffness, preload and numerical runout limits remain configuration-dependent data to obtain before final selection.
INA/Schaeffler YRTC260-XL Reference Performance
These values apply to
INA/Schaeffler YRTC260-XL in TPI 120. They provide a brand comparison and do not define the performance of LYDL YRT260.
| Reference parameter | YRTC260-XL — TPI 120 |
|---|
| Basic dynamic axial load rating, Ca | 168 kN |
| Basic static axial load rating, C0a | 1,090 kN |
| Basic dynamic radial load rating, Cr | 140 kN |
| Basic static radial load rating, C0r | 355 kN |
| Continuous-operation limiting speed, nG | 300 rpm |
| Frictional torque guide value, MR | 9 N·m at 5 rpm |
| Mass | 17.8 kg |
| Standard fitted-bearing axial/radial runout | 6 µm with ideal adjacent construction |
Catalog speed limits were established under specified mounting, lubrication and thermal conditions without external application load. Static ratings are not permissible workpiece weights, and the friction figure alone cannot size a drive motor.
Profile difference: LYDL lists d1 = 345 mm; the YRTC260-XL catalog gives D1 max. = 347 mm. Preserve this distinction when checking recesses, covers and surrounding clearances.
Weight and temperature sources: Schaeffler’s online YRTC260-XL page lists 17.5 kg and a +120°C upper temperature limit. TPI 120 lists 17.8 kg and a −30°C to +100°C range. LYDL’s published series range is −20°C to +120°C; the supplied configuration’s range requires confirmation.

Where YRT260 Fits
Consider YRT260 when the layout accommodates its 385 mm outside diameter and 55 mm bearing height:
- CNC rotary workholding: fixture and workpiece support under combined machining loads.
- Swivel axes: positioning assemblies with changing gravity and cutting-force directions.
- Indexing equipment: repeated positioning with defined loaded-deflection limits.
- Measuring stages: rotary assemblies with specified axial and radial running accuracy.
Include the fixture, workpiece and machining forces in the load review. For a swivel table, identify the orientations producing the highest axial load, radial load and overturning moment.

Use these dimensions to compare layouts. Bearing size alone does not establish permissible load, assembly stiffness or service life.
YRTS260, YRTM260 and ZKLDF260 Options
| Option | Function | Selection relevance |
|---|
| LYDL YRT260 | Axial/radial roller support | 260 × 385 × 55 mm |
| LYDL YRTS260 | Roller-bearing family for higher-speed duties | Published dimensions and fixing-hole layout match LYDL YRT260 |
| LYDL YRTM260 | Bearing system with angular measurement | Listed by LYDL; obtain the system drawing and feedback specification |
| INA/Schaeffler ZKLDF260 | Double-direction angular contact ball bearing | TPI 120 lists 260 × 385 × 55 mm |
TPI 120 lists
910 rpm for INA/Schaeffler YRTS260 and
2,400 rpm for INA/Schaeffler ZKLDF260 under its stated limiting-speed conditions. These figures are brand references, not LYDL speed ratings.
The ZKLDF260 catalog also lists 34 inner and 33 outer Ø9.3 mm fixing holes. Matching these features makes it an interface candidate, but replacement still requires review of ring profiles, stiffness, preload, lubrication, sealing and operating conditions.
Precision, Mounting and Protective Packing
Specify LYDL P5, P4 or P2 together with numerical acceptance limits. Bearing runout is distinct from encoder resolution and complete rotary-axis positioning accuracy.
In the Schaeffler designation system,
XL denotes X-life,
VSP identifies the configuration for an axially supported L-section ring, and
PRL50 identifies restricted runout tolerances. These suffixes do not automatically define an equivalent LYDL configuration.
Identify fixing holes, retaining-screw locations, extraction threads and lubrication passages separately. The YRTC260-XL reference uses
M12 extraction threads; this is not the mounting-screw specification. Follow the agreed fastener, fit and tightening requirements.
Inspection can be specified for dimensions, hole geometry, runout and rotational resistance. Agree the measurement setup and report scope before ordering.
For wooden-case packing, the bearing lies flat on cushioning with rust-preventive wrapping and suitable internal blocking. Tape holds the protective wrapping; supports restrain the bearing. External labels identify the model and quantity, with the packing configuration selected for the shipment.

Does a 36 × 10° hole pattern mean 36 mounting screws in each ring?
No. The YRTC260-XL reference uses 36 angular positions at 10° spacing, while the fixing-hole counts are 34 for the inner ring and 33 for the outer ring. Retaining and extraction features have different functions. Use the approved hole map when preparing the mating components.
Do the Ø15 × 8.2 mm counterbores need to be machined into both mating parts?
Those values describe the counterbores in the LYDL YRT260 inner ring. They are not instructions to duplicate the recesses in the shaft and housing. Mating-part holes, screw access and thread engagement must follow the assembly drawing and intended fastener direction.
Which additional ZKLDF260 contours should be checked before replacement?
Beyond the shared 260 × 385 × 55 mm envelope, TPI 120 identifies ZKLDF260 profile dimensions D2 = 313 mm and D3 = 348 mm. Compare these features with the relevant section drawing and surrounding components. Matching bore, OD and height does not establish clearance everywhere.
Can a support ring be added to a standard YRT260 assembly?
Treat this as a mounting-configuration change. For Schaeffler YRTC260-XL, full axial support requires the VSP preload arrangement; TPI 120 specifies support-ring height at least equal to H2, which is 18.5 mm for this size. Define the support geometry and preload requirements separately for LYDL supply.
How should accuracy under an overhung fixture load be specified?
State the allowable displacement at the actual workpiece or tool location, together with the load direction and measuring radius. Bearing runout describes running accuracy under its inspection conditions; it does not define loaded table deflection. Include the fixture, shaft, housing and bolted joints in that assessment.
