YRT120 Rotary Table Bearing for Rotary and Swivel Axes
The LYDL
YRT120 rotary table bearing is a
120 × 210 × 40 mm axial/radial roller bearing. Two axial roller rows support axial loads in both directions, while a radial roller row supports radial loads. Together, they accommodate combined loading and tilting moments in rotary assemblies.
Within the
LYDL YRT rotary table bearing range, this size offers a 120 mm bore at a 40 mm height. Its 135 mm and 195 mm fixing-hole pitch circles provide specific mounting interfaces for the shaft-side and housing-side components.

INA/Schaeffler YRTC120-XL: Catalog Reference
The following values belong to
YRTC120-XL in the cited Schaeffler TPI 120 catalog. They are comparison data, not LYDL ratings. LYDL’s public dimensional table does not provide the corresponding model-specific performance values.
| Reference parameter | YRTC120-XL |
|---|
| Dynamic axial load rating, Ca | 112 kN |
| Static axial load rating, C0a | 520 kN |
| Dynamic radial load rating, Cr | 69 kN |
| Static radial load rating, C0r | 124 kN |
| Continuous-operation limiting speed, nG | 900 rpm under catalog conditions |
| Frictional torque guide value, MR | 4 N·m at 5 rpm |
| Catalog mass | 4.61 kg |
| Standard fitted-bearing axial/radial runout | 3 µm with ideal adjacent construction |
The limiting speed assumes defined mounting, lubrication and thermal conditions without external application load. It is not a loaded-duty speed guarantee. The friction figure is neither a mounting torque nor a complete motor-sizing value.
Profile: LYDL specifies d1 = 184 mm; the reference catalog gives D1 max. = 185 mm. Compare section drawings before establishing mating-part clearance.
Temperature: LYDL’s series page lists −20°C to +120°C; the cited TPI catalog states −30°C to +100°C. The supplied LYDL configuration requires its own confirmed operating range.

Applications and Load Planning
YRT120 is a candidate where the machine layout accepts its 120 mm bore and 210 mm outside diameter:
- CNC rotary tables: fixture and workpiece support under machining loads.
- Five-axis swivel assemblies: positioning axes with loads that change direction through the working angle.
- Precision indexing fixtures: intermittent rotation with controlled assembly deflection.
- Measuring stages: rotary inspection with defined radial and axial running accuracy.
For an offset fixture, provide both the force and its distance from the bearing center. On a swivel axis, include indexing and machining positions, acceleration and the clamp arrangement. These inputs describe the operating load more clearly than workpiece mass alone.

Compare Nearby YRT Sizes
| Model | Bore × OD × height | Layout consideration |
|---|
| YRT100 | 100 × 185 × 38 mm | Smaller seat and 2 mm less height |
| YRT120 | 120 × 210 × 40 mm | 120 mm bore with Ø7 mm fixing holes |
| YRT150 | 150 × 240 × 40 mm | Larger bore and OD at the same height |
| YRT180 | 180 × 280 × 43 mm | Larger seat with 3 mm additional height |
Moving from YRT100 to YRT120 changes the inner fixing-hole arrangement from 16 × Ø5.6 mm to 22 × Ø7 mm. Sharing a product family does not preserve the mounting pattern. Compare performance separately once the installation envelope is suitable.
YRTS, YRTM and ZKLDF120 Options
| Option | Function | Selection boundary |
|---|
| YRT120 | Combined-load roller support | 120 × 210 × 40 mm base envelope |
| YRTS | Roller series for higher-speed duty | Verify a specific configuration and performance data |
| YRTM | Bearing system with angular measurement | Verify bearing dimensions and feedback interface |
| ZKLDF120 | Double-direction angular-contact ball bearing | Same main envelope; separate interchange review |
LYDL’s typical-model list includes YRTS150 and YRTM150, while its published YRTS dimensional table begins at YRTS200. Neither list establishes a YRTS120 or YRTM120 configuration. A 120 mm requirement therefore needs a specific proposal rather than an assumed suffix variant.
The cited Schaeffler catalog lists
ZKLDF120 at 120 × 210 × 40 mm, with a
4,300 rpm limiting speed under its specified conditions. This makes it a candidate for investigating higher-speed duty within the same main envelope.
Its ball-contact construction changes the performance comparison. Review stiffness, preload, lubrication, sealing and all mounting profiles before substitution. Matching three overall dimensions does not establish interchangeability.
Precision and Installation
Specify numerical bearing tolerances alongside the chosen LYDL precision option. For replacements, include the complete existing designation and the machine’s acceptance requirements.
The Schaeffler suffixes describe its own configurations:
- XL: X-life version.
- VSP: preload arrangement for an axially supported L-section ring.
- PRL50: restricted axial and radial runout.
These designations do not automatically map to LYDL precision grades. Before assembly, agree mounting-face quality, fits, fasteners and the tightening sequence. Keep fixing positions separate from retaining screws and extraction threads, then verify assembled runout under the agreed conditions.
Inspection and Protective Packaging
Specify the required inspection scope with the order: dimensions, mounting-hole geometry, axial and radial runout, rotational resistance and any material documentation. State the measurement setup where acceptance depends on how the bearing is supported or mounted.
For wooden-case packing, the bearing lies flat on cushioning with rust-preventive wrapping. Suitable blocking limits movement inside the case; tape secures the wrapping rather than acting as the sole restraint. The final packing arrangement and label follow the ordered configuration.

YRT120 FAQ
Does the 120 mm bore provide a 120 mm clear passage through the complete rotary axis?
Not necessarily. The bearing bore defines the shaft or hub interface. A hollow shaft, cable guides, seals or a rotary union can reduce the usable passage. Check the complete assembly section when routing cables, air lines or coolant through a YRT120 axis.
Can the 26 mm and 14 mm mounting heights be interchanged?
No. H1 and H2 refer to the mounting geometry shown in the bearing section. Their sum alone does not define a reversible installation. Use the approved YRT120 drawing to locate shoulders and support faces, including the intended support condition of the L-section ring.
Can YRT120 replace YRT100 by enlarging only the bearing seat?
No. The change affects bore, outside diameter, height, fixing-hole diameters, counts and pitch circles. Review both mating components and the axial stack. An adapter also needs checks for fastener access, stiffness and the resulting load path.
Can a ZKLDF120 conversion retain the existing motor and controller?
Possibly, but the shared envelope is insufficient evidence. Review starting and running torque, acceleration, reflected inertia, thermal behavior and feedback requirements for the assembled axis. Neither bearing’s catalog speed alone determines whether the existing drive is suitable.
What should be recorded when approving a YRT120 sample?
Record the drawing revision, selected precision limits, lubrication and inspection conditions, plus the assembly’s acceptance criteria. If testing on the machine, identify the fixture, operating cycle and measurement locations so later deliveries can be assessed against the same agreed requirements.
