The LYDL RE12025 cross roller bearing has a 120 mm bore, 180 mm outside diameter and 25 mm width. Its split inner ring and one-piece outer ring suit rotary workholding and positioning mechanisms requiring accurate outer-ring rotation.
Catalogue basic radial ratings are 66.9 kN dynamic and 100 kN static, with an approximate mass of 2.62 kg. LYDL and THK shoulder references are listed separately below. Confirm the mounting drawing, accuracy, internal clearance or preload, and sealing when requesting a quotation.
RE12025 Cross Roller Bearing for Rotary Workholding
The LYDL RE12025 cross roller bearing measures 120 × 180 × 25 mm and uses a split inner ring with a one-piece outer ring. This structure suits mechanisms that prioritise outer-ring rotational accuracy.
Its crossed rollers support radial, bidirectional axial and overturning moment loads within one assembly. Explore the RE series cross roller bearings for other sizes.

THK marks ds as a maximum and Dh as a minimum. LYDL’s cited table publishes 133 mm and 164 mm without max/min qualifiers. Confirm their limit and tolerance definitions on the approved LYDL drawing before machining mating parts. Keep each manufacturer’s mounting references together. These pairs do not form shared tolerance ranges or establish interchangeability. Shaft and housing fits, chamfer clearance and flange geometry also require drawing confirmation.

Compared with RE10016: RE12025 offers about 2.11 times the dynamic radial rating, requiring 40 mm more outside diameter, 9 mm more width and approximately 1.79 kg additional bearing mass.
Compared with RE15025: RE12025 retains the same 25 mm width while reducing outside diameter by 30 mm. RE15025 provides approximately 14.8% more dynamic radial rating and a 150 mm bore.
Selection takeaway: RE12025 combines substantially higher radial ratings than RE10016 with a smaller envelope than RE15025. Rating increases do not directly translate into proportional payload or service-life increases. Request an RE12025 quotation — Send your quantity and delivery country. Applications for a 25 mm Bearing Width
Consider RE12025 for the following layouts after checking loads, mounting stiffness and the operating environment:
Rotary machining fixtures: A rotating workholding plate around a stationary support; include cutting and clamping forces in the load review.
Automated assembly indexers: Fixture stations carrying combined loads during assembly and indexing.
Robotic workpiece positioners: Outer-ring rotation supporting a workpiece fixture; include workpiece offset and acceleration loads.
Accuracy, Preload and Sealing Options
The following THK RB/RE code conventions help describe an enquiry. LYDL confirms the supplied configuration with the order.
Selection
Reference meaning
P5 / P4 / P2
Rotational accuracy grades; dimensional limits require separate confirmation
CC0 / C0 / C1
Negative clearance with preload / positive clearance / positive clearance larger than C0
No seal suffix / U / UU
Open / one sealed side / both sides sealed
RE12025UUCC0P4 is an enquiry example for double seals, preload and P4 rotational accuracy. Confirm the actual clearance or preload limits, lubricant, starting torque and inspection conditions before order approval.
Inspection and Protective Packaging
Agree the RE12025 inspection scope before production: boundary dimensions, specified outer-ring runout, clearance or preload and any required rotation-torque checks.
Identify the approved drawing revision and measurement conditions in the order documentation. Inspection reports and material records can be agreed with the order. See LYDL manufacturing and quality control for the production process.
Specify corrosion protection, individual bearing packaging and an outer carton or protective case appropriate for shipment size and handling.
RE12025 FAQ
1. Can I treat 133–135 mm and 164–166 mm as shoulder tolerance ranges?
No. These are values from two manufacturers’ publications, with different stated limit information. Use the approved drawing for the supplied bearing and confirm each shoulder’s dimension and tolerance. Do not combine the references into a single machining range.
2. Can an existing RE10016 housing be reused for RE12025?
It requires redesign: outside diameter increases from 140 to 180 mm, bore from 100 to 120 mm, and bearing width from 16 to 25 mm. Recheck the shaft, shoulders and retention arrangement as well as the housing.
3. Why might RE12025 become harder to rotate after flange tightening?
The mounting fit, shoulder contact, flange distortion or uneven clamping can change running behaviour. Check the assembly against the approved drawing and compare torque before and after mounting. THK mounting guidance describes progressive flange tightening.
4. Does the UU suffix confirm suitability for coolant or washdown?
UU identifies seals on both bearing faces. It does not specify a washdown or ingress-protection rating. Confirm coolant compatibility, exposure conditions, lubricant and any external sealing needed for the complete assembly.

LYDL supplies this bearing under its own brand, to the approved order drawing. THK references support technical comparison; ISO references explain rating and tolerance frameworks. Neither establishes product certification or guaranteed interchangeability.
