RE10016 Cross Roller Bearing | 100 × 140 × 16 mm

The LYDL RE10016 cross roller bearing provides a 100 mm bore within a 140 mm outside diameter and 16 mm width. Its split inner ring and one-piece outer ring suit rotary platforms surrounding a stationary central support.

Catalogue basic radial load ratings are 31.7 kN dynamic and 48.6 kN static, with an approximate mass of 0.83 kg. Accuracy, clearance or preload, seals and lubrication are confirmed for the application. Request an RE10016 price and drawing from LYDL.

RE10016 Cross Roller Bearing for Compact Rotary Platforms

The LYDL RE10016 cross roller bearing measures 100 × 140 × 16 mm. Its split inner ring and one-piece outer ring make it a candidate for mechanisms requiring accurate outer-ring rotation, including rotating platforms around a fixed central hub. The crossed rollers carry radial, bidirectional axial and overturning moment loads. Explore the RE series cross roller bearings to compare this 100 mm bearing seat with other sizes.

  • From RE8016 to RE10016: Bore diameter increases by 20 mm while bearing width remains 16 mm. The dynamic radial rating increases by approximately 5.3%.
  • From RE10016 to RE15013: Bore diameter increases by 50 mm and width decreases by 3 mm. The dynamic radial rating falls to 27.0 kN, while the static rating rises to 53.5 kN.
Selection takeaway: RE10016 has the highest dynamic radial rating of these three models. RE15013 offers the largest bore and highest static radial rating. Applications Around a Stationary Central Support

RE10016 can be evaluated for these layouts, subject to load and accuracy checks:
  • Automation indexing platforms: A rotating fixture plate surrounding a stationary hub, with limited axial space.
  • Rotary inspection stations: Workpieces rotating around a fixed centre; off-centre loads require moment-load evaluation.
  • Rotating sensor carriers: A carrier turning around a stationary support, with bearing runout and housing stiffness assessed together.

Configure Accuracy, Clearance and Sealing

A reference enquiry designation is RE10016UUCC0P4, interpreted using the THK RB/RE designation guide:
CodeMeaning
RE10016Basic bearing model
UUSeals on both sides
CC0Negative clearance, indicating preload
P4Grade 4 rotational accuracy
No seal suffix denotes an open bearing; U denotes one sealed side. C0 indicates positive clearance. P5 and P2 are other rotational accuracy options. Dimensional tolerances, lubricant and acceptance limits are confirmed separately in the LYDL order specification. Support and clamp the bearing using the approved housing and flange design. The THK housing and flange guidance explains why surrounding rigidity and shoulder geometry affect bearing performance.

Inspection and Packaging for Your RE10016 Order

Before production, agree the dimensional checks, ring runout, clearance or preload and any rotation-torque requirement. Define the measurement datum and test conditions for meaningful acceptance results. Inspection reports and material records can be agreed with the order. See LYDL manufacturing and quality control for the production process. Specify anti-corrosion protection, individual bearing packaging and an outer carton or protective case suited to shipment size and handling. RE10016 FAQ

1. Can RE10016 support a 200 mm rotary platter?

Platter diameter alone is insufficient to confirm suitability. Provide the load, offset, mounting rigidity and required accuracy. For example, a 200 N axial force acting 100 mm off the rotation axis creates a 20 N·m overturning moment. This is an illustrative applied moment, not an RE10016 capacity rating.

2. Does the 0.83 kg bearing mass determine the motor size?

No. Motor selection requires the inertia of the actual rotating components, acceleration and friction torque. The catalogue mass includes the whole bearing, whereas the inner ring can remain stationary in an RE assembly.

3. What if the indexer only oscillates through a small angle?

Specify the oscillation angle, cycles per minute, load and dwell time. Small movements can limit lubricant-film formation and create fretting risk. Lubrication and life assessment should follow the actual motion profile, as discussed in THK selection guidance.

4. Will P4 accuracy guarantee the result measured at the platter edge?

P4 describes bearing rotational accuracy under the applicable inspection conditions. Platter-edge results also depend on mounting faces, clamping, structural deflection and measurement radius. Set an installed acceptance limit and check it on the assembled equipment.

5. Can the static rating determine an indexing table’s holding torque?

No. The 48.6 kN C₀ value is a radial bearing rating. It does not specify brake holding torque or table-clamping performance. Evaluate the bearing’s combined loads separately from the mechanism that locks the table.
