K15013XP0 is the reference for LYDL PX15013, an open 150 × 176 × 13 mm metric four-point contact bearing. This page considers the load history of an indexing fixture rather than treating the cycle as steady rotation.
Describe acceleration, deceleration, reversing motion and forces applied during dwell. These conditions support a meaningful selection review and a repeatable prototype test. The LYDL configuration and its operating limits must be confirmed independently of the reference-brand catalog.

K15013XP0 identifies the KAYDON reference used to evaluate LYDL PX15013 open. The LYDL bearing uses 150 × 176 × 13 mm boundary dimensions and a four-point contact arrangement.
For an indexing machine, the application is better described as a sequence of events than as one speed and one payload. PX15013 selection should therefore start with the loads and motions occurring during each part of the cycle, including periods when the axis is stationary.
Only the open PX15013 / K15013XP0 correspondence is confirmed in the reviewed tables. Sealed duty can be raised in the application inquiry, but a sealed order number, geometry and operating limits require separate verification.

See the LYDL metric Type X listing for the catalog grouping. Confirm the actual material, internal setting and lubrication on the supply drawing.

Break the process into loading, acceleration, travel, deceleration, holding and unloading stages. Identify the forces active in each stage and the location where they enter the rotating assembly. Do not assume that the maximum speed, maximum force and longest dwell occur together.
Record the direction of travel and whether the next move reverses the previous one. Provide the required stopping behavior and the machine designer's emergency-stop case separately from the normal production cycle. Where the payload varies, define the permitted combinations rather than one average workpiece.
Include the rotating components when developing the motion requirement. The fixture, adapters and tooling can contribute substantially to the assembly being accelerated. Distinguish the drive torque around the working axis from the radial, axial and overturning loads used in bearing selection.
A concise cycle sheet lets the bearing supplier and drive engineer work from the same assumptions. Keep that sheet under revision control when production tooling or motion settings change.

The following values describe KAYDON K15013XP0, not certified LYDL performance.
| Catalog rating | Dynamic | Static |
|---|---|---|
| Radial | 15,612 N | 24,085 N |
| Axial | 24,075 N | 60,223 N |
| Moment | 954 N·m | 1,963 N·m |
These limits are not simultaneous. The dynamic basis is one million revolutions of L10 life; static values assume rigid ring support. Obtain the LYDL rating basis before calculating application life. The LYDL series table labels force capacities in “kg”; this page does not silently reinterpret those entries as newtons.
The open reference table does not provide a model-specific speed limit here. Request the permitted operating conditions for the LYDL lubricant, internal setting and mounting arrangement; do not borrow a sealed model's speed figure.
A possible application is a fixture that indexes between several operations while a clamp holds the workpiece during each dwell. The bearing may see one set of conditions during movement and another when the tool contacts the part. Capture both in the review.
For the prototype, run the complete sequence with representative tooling. Test the approach to a working position from every direction used in production and measure the relevant feature after settling. A repeatable position reached from only one direction may not describe the actual machine requirement.
The example does not establish a permitted cycle rate or duty life for PX15013. Those outcomes require the selected bearing specification, the load assessment and the complete axis design to be considered together.

Decide which quantities are needed during motion and which are measured while stationary. Record drive behavior with the measurement system appropriate to the axis, and measure loaded displacement or positioning where the process requirement is defined. Label the time or cycle stage associated with each result.
Keep the mechanical configuration fixed during a comparison. A change in tooling, clamp pressure or drive tuning can alter the observations even when the bearing has not changed. If a change is necessary, record it before combining results from different runs.
For the open bearing, document the chosen lubrication and enclosure arrangement along with the duty. An intermittent motion description should reach the lubricant review; it should not be lost when the purchasing request is reduced to model and quantity.
Inspect the fitted assembly after the agreed trial and compare the result with the starting condition using a defined method.
Use PX15013 — Open for LYDL purchasing. The verified KAYDON reference is K15013XP0; no sealed counterpart is assigned.
KAYDON K means steel construction without seals or shields; J means steel construction with two nitrile seals. X identifies four-point contact, P a standard snap-over separator, and 0 Kaydon class 1 / ABEC 1F. These codes do not certify the LYDL configuration.
Carry the duty sheet across brand comparisons. NSK calls its inch-design four-point family NBX and identifies sealing on both sides with DD. INA / Schaeffler CSXU050-2RS is another sealed naming example, in a different size. Neither label establishes an equivalent indexing duty or a confirmed sealed counterpart to PX15013.
Choose acceptance conditions that represent the task performed at each station. State the workpiece, tool contact, approach direction and measurement delay after arrival. This prevents an unloaded positioning test from being mistaken for a loaded process test.
Keep component accuracy requirements separate from complete-axis repeatability. The latter includes the drive, fixture and control system as well as the bearing. Request the supplier's inspection scope for the former, then establish machine-level tests for the latter.
Preserve the approved motion program or its documented parameters with the sample release record. A later increase in acceleration or change in clamp force should trigger a review of the assumptions used for selection.

No. Include acceleration, braking, angular travel, dwell and the loads applied during each stage. Average speed can conceal the conditions that matter at startup or while the fixture holds position. A cycle sheet communicates these requirements more effectively.
Do not treat those as interchangeable quantities. Identify overturning moment about an axis that tilts the assembly separately from torque about the rotation axis. Supply a coordinate sketch and the motion requirement so the relevant calculations use the correct inputs.
Use both directions when the production cycle does so. The complete mechanism may respond differently after reversal because of the drive and other interfaces. Measure the process feature using the specified approach and settling conditions rather than assuming a one-direction test is sufficient.
Yes, when they are part of the intended duty. A stationary axis can still carry substantial forces and moments. Identify clamp and process loads, their locations and duration so selection and acceptance testing cover the actual working condition.
Review changes that affect the selection assumptions, including payload distribution, tooling force, acceleration, travel or duty frequency. Keep the bearing configuration and test record linked to those assumptions. Approval of one cycle does not automatically qualify every later production program.
PX15008 offers a thinner envelope around the same nominal bore for a separate layout assessment. PX20013 moves to a larger seat and emphasizes inspection and batch acceptance for that size.
